MSVC++ & GNUPlot?

I've a problem.

Does MSVC++ (Microsoft Visual C++) have a bulit-in program of GNUPlot (http://www.gnuplot.info/) ??

I'm trying to make a C program that produces a graph of a projectile motion. And I require a GNUPlot.

As far as I know GNUPlot is another different seperated-portable command-line driven interactive data and function plotting utility.

So:

1) Does MSVC++ have a bulit-in program of GNUPlot?

2) How to integrate GNUPlot with MSVC++?

3) To make a graph of projectile motion, isn't it necessary for me to write codes in MSVC++ and at the same time working with GNUPlot in another window?

4) How does this entire thing work in both different working-environment (MSVC++ and GNUPlot) ?

Please help. Thanks.

MSVC++ %26amp; GNUPlot?
By the numbers:

1) Not that I've ever heard about, sorry.

2) Since GNUPlot is an application and MSVC++ is an

integrated IDE/C++ compiler package, you wouldn't.

It's more likely that you'd re-compile the GNUPlot

source code, since it is Open Source and integrate

some MSVC++ features into the application's interface.

3) No, since you can legally and easily get the code for

GNUPlot, what you do is use the code as a starting point

for your application made under MSVC++ and add in Windows

GUI features or compile it as a console application.

4) It doesn't. MSVC++ isn't an "environment" in the sense

that you are speaking of. It is an Integrated

Development Environment (IDE). It is a nice editor,

with the compiler and libraries to compile code to

a stand alone executable that runs unde Windows.

You will actually create this program yourself. You

may need to change some to quite a lot of the original

GNUPlot code to get it to run right under Windows.

Below is a link to the GNUPlot source and some other information you may find useful. I hope this helps.

Whats wrong with my Itunes?

I start it up and a pop up comes up saying:

---------------------------

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

---------------------------

Runtime Error!

Program: C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information.

---------------------------

OK

The it shuts down.

Whats wrong with my Itunes?
I would uninstall the program at first and then restart the computer. I'm not a computer genius but I'm always curious to know about this stuff. I had this problem before and what I ws told from people on the internet was the best way to install a program after getting this kind of error is to do it in safemode status. Now I would presume that you know how to get to safemode. For most computer,after restarting the computer,you just keep tapping F8 but it could be F1 or ESC as well, it will bring you to the screen where you can choose to go to safemode or normal startup.Choose any kind of safemode startup and then try to install it again just like the way you would do it when the computer runs in a normal mode. Hope this might help.
Reply:Try removing the program then re-download it again.
Reply:The application itself is corrupted. Try reinstalling it again
Reply:This has happened to me before. I installed Safari and a few weeks later my iTunes brought up the same exact error message.

Solution:

Uninstall "Apple Software Update" in Add/Remove Programs.

If not, just download and install the latest iTunes (7.3) or revert to an older version at http://www.oldversion.com

Runtime Error?

What does this mean and how can I fix it?

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libray

Runtime Error!

Program: E:\SAL.exe

R6034

An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Runtime Error?
Not quite an answer to your question, but when I did a Yahoo! search for "sal.exe", I came up with some indications that this might be a piece of malware. You might want to run your anti-malware programs.

Hope that helps.

Reply:Clean Boot with Only MoSearch

The Mosearch.exe (Microsoft Office Search Service) and Mosdmn.exe (Microsoft Office 10 Search Filter Daemon) Startup items may be conflicting with some other program (or programs) running in the background. Therefore, clean boot your computer with only MoSearch selected on the Startup menu to determine whether this program is the source of the conflict. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type msconfig.exe, and then click OK.

3. On the General tab, click Selective startup.

4. On the Startup tab, click to clear all check boxes except for MoSearch.

NOTE: In Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), leave the *StateMgr check box selected as well.

5. Click OK, and then click Yes when you are prompted to restart the computer.

6. If the error message can be reproduced, repeat the preceding steps. In step 3, also click to clear the Process System.ini file and Process Win.ini file check boxes.

If the error message cannot be reproduced, this indicates that MoSearch is conflicting with some other program or programs running in the background. Follow these steps to locate the conflicting program:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type msconfig.exe, and then click OK.

3. On the Startup tab, click to select one of the check boxes.

4. Click OK, and then click Yes when you are prompted to restart the computer.

5. If the preceding steps reproduce the error message, the last item added to the Startup menu is causing the conflict. If the error message is not reproduced, repeat these steps until all Startup menu check boxes are selected.

6. If all the Startup menu check boxes are selected and the error message is still not reproduced, start Msconfig again, and then click to select the Process System.ini file and Process Win.ini file check boxes.

Clean the Windows Temp Directory

1. Use Windows Explorer to browse to C:\Windows\Temp.

2. On the Edit menu, click Select All.

3. Press DELETE, and then click Yes to delete all the files.

4. On the desktop, right-click Recycle Bin, and then click Empty Recycle Bin.

5. Restart the computer.
Reply:If that does not help then you could try a system restore point that or reboot and repeatdly press F8 until you get the startup menu and try last known good configuration.

If that does not work then try a repair install ( you will lose all your udpates ) but that should defintly fix the issue.

Also were those files encrypted or anything like that ?

Also if you go to event viewer ( control panel --%26gt; admin tools --%26gt; event viewer )

Do you get any related errors regarding explorer.exe , if so what event id does it have and what is the full error message there.
