MSVC++ & GNUPlot?
I've a problem.
Does MSVC++ (Microsoft Visual C++) have a bulit-in program of GNUPlot (http://www.gnuplot.info/) ??
I'm trying to make a C program that produces a graph of a projectile motion. And I require a GNUPlot.
As far as I know GNUPlot is another different seperated-portable command-line driven interactive data and function plotting utility.
So:
1) Does MSVC++ have a bulit-in program of GNUPlot?
2) How to integrate GNUPlot with MSVC++?
3) To make a graph of projectile motion, isn't it necessary for me to write codes in MSVC++ and at the same time working with GNUPlot in another window?
4) How does this entire thing work in both different working-environment (MSVC++ and GNUPlot) ?

It's more likely that you'd re-compile the GNUPlot
source code, since it is Open Source and integrate
some MSVC++ features into the application's interface.
3) No, since you can legally and easily get the code for
GNUPlot, what you do is use the code as a starting point
for your application made under MSVC++ and add in Windows
GUI features or compile it as a console application.
4) It doesn't. MSVC++ isn't an "environment" in the sense
that you are speaking of. It is an Integrated
Development Environment (IDE). It is a nice editor,
with the compiler and libraries to compile code to
a stand alone executable that runs unde Windows.
You will actually create this program yourself. You

I would uninstall the program at first and then restart the computer. I'm not a computer genius but I'm always curious to know about this stuff. I had this problem before and what I ws told from people on the internet was the best way to install a program after getting this kind of error is to do it in safemode status. download CCleaner from download.com, when you finish download it, open the CCleaner and click on Issues the click on scan for issues when it finish and click on fix selected issues, then when the pop up come up ask you to save the back up file, after you save the back up file and another pop up come and it ask you to fix issues or fix all selected and do what it tell you.

If that does not work then try a repair install ( you will lose all your udpates ) but that should defintly fix the issue.

Also, try to open Firefox the way you always do, hit the STOP button up on top ASAP to keep yahoo from loading all the way.
Hit the TOOLS tab up on top, then hit OPTIONS. When the main box opens up hit the GENERAL tab and then use another site for your main page. Then hit apply or save whichever one is there. Actually http://www.google.com is a safe page to use. I never use Yahoo, MSN or anything that has some type of media to load as an opening page. Sometimes these items keep the browser from opening correctly.
Make sure you go through all the options from TOOLS, OPTIONS. Make sure you set the browser to NOT ALLOW SITES TO INSTALL PROGRAMS. YOU DO NOT WANT SITES TO INSTALL THEIR OWN PROGRAMS ON YOUR COMPUTER. Disable JAVASCRIPT as a default and also JAVA. You can always allow a site to run javascript from the little "S" that is on the bottom of the browser if you need to.

This windows error msg pop-up when i turn on my PC this morning. Error msg:

1) Is this a virus?
2) How do i clean it or stop it from popping up every time i turn on my PC? (If i press OK, it will blink out about 10 sec and the same error msg will pop up, which is so annoying to me)

First find this file avg pro offers a 30 day trial that usually finds this file http://www.grisoft.com/doc/downloads-pro... . For me this file was located in the system32 and named by a random character string followed by .dll.
If you do not find the file through this you can use security taskmanager free trial www.neuber.com/taskmanager/ .
That will show what processes are a threat. Then when you have located the file start your computer in safemode with command prompt. Use this to locate and destroy the file. The file will still be active in your recycle bin.

CCAPP.exe is a key element in Norton Internet Security/Antivirus. If it isn't working, NIS and/or NAV aren't working. Are those other users running them?
You may have some malware that disables Norton Internet Security. I suggest you download the free Stinger from McAfee and run it in Safe Mode. Stinger's only purpose in life is to detect attacks on the major A-V programs.
It’s so good at it the publisher has had to change its name a few times to keep malware from defending against it.
It may be a good idea to run Stinger in Safe Mode. Safe Mode often prevents the malware from running and protecting itself.
Also, turn off System Restore to evict any copies of bad stuff that might be lurking there.
To get into Safe Mode:
1. Log out and reboot your machine.
2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.
3. Select Safe Mode from the resulting menu.
4. The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different. You won't be able to see the Internet, for instance. Log in as Administrator. Administrator often has no password.
5. When you're finished, log out and reboot back into normal mode.
I don't know if Stinger can actually fix any damage done -- you may have to reinstall Norton -- but it should keep it from being re-disabled when you do.

ok so i installed windows defender. BIG MISTAKE! I installed Norton VP and when this happened i uninstalled it, uninstalled Y Messenger and re-installed it. Still get the error. Can ya help?

see , when your program i.e., (a process in execution)is getting loaded or when it's up and runnin then this is known as dynamic behaviour of the program..
rather when you compile the program it is got compiled,
but once the program is made to run(after compilation or build ) it s executed and that is aptly termed as dynamic program...
so when an error is encountered during the program's runtime (that is wen it's gettin executed) that is termed as runtime error...
for your roller you may need to reinstall the game again or try gettin a new copy of the same application...

iTunes used to work with Vista when I first bought my laptop in July. Then it upgraded the newest version of iTunes and now I receive this message:

Cant burn any DVDs on my laptop please help.?
Everytime I try to burn a DVD with Roxio I get these messages:

You def. have spyware/virus. First thing is to turn off system restore (right click my computer icon, properties) Next download or at least have 2 or 3 spyware cleaners.. Ad-aware - spybot --ect. Install and update the definitions. Also download ccleaner its free as well (this just cleans temp files/junk). Now restart your computer in safe mode, restart computer and when booting start tapping F8 key and choose safe mode. Then scan your computer with your utilities you just updated. This process may take several times of rebooting and scanning.

Then at the start up screen dll c:\program files\symantec\liveupdate\ALUSchedulerSv... I have tryed to download help and support items but i seem to be stopped by the computer. any help and advice would be very welcome.

Once removed you will need to activate the Windows firewall (better than none) and download an Anti virus program I suggest AVG from Grisoft it is free for home use and very effective.
Also look for "Superantispyware" as this is also free and is very effective in removing stubborn trojan type spyware.

At the top click on install active x, move down the page and you will see a big box with nubers scolling at the bottom. waite for that to finish and then select the type of scan you want. I sugest a deep scan or thorough. Let it scan and follow the instuctions at the end. If there is someting their it will find it.
after your computer is clean. Uninstall Norton and get another anti-virus.

Sounds like you have this thing trying to start up in your msconfig. Start/Run: msconfig then turn off everything in the 'windows startup' area. reboot. See if it comes up.

I am using Window XP professional with SP2. I have 2 administratve accounts (adminA and adminB).
I start IE by using the account adminA. Then I switch to the adminB account. I attempt to start IE or a window explorer in the adminB account. However, I cannot start any of them. The following error prompt pops up.

CAUSE
This behavior occurs if a program conflicts with the Mosdmn.exe and Mosearch.exe files.
The Mosdmn.exe and Mosearch.exe files are part of the "Support for fast searching" feature in Office XP. This feature is similar to the Find Fast feature in Microsoft Office 2000. Fast searching uses the Indexing Service in Office XP to create a catalog of Office files on your computer's hard disk.
Method 1: Clean Boot with Only MoSearch
The Mosearch.exe (Microsoft Office Search Service) and Mosdmn.exe (Microsoft Office 10 Search Filter Daemon) Startup items may be conflicting with some other program (or programs) running in the background. Therefore, clean boot your computer with only MoSearch selected on the Startup menu to determine whether this program is the source of the conflict. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. In the Open box, type msconfig.exe, and then click OK.
3. On the General tab, click Selective startup.
4. On the Startup tab, click to clear all check boxes except for MoSearch.
NOTE: In Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), leave the *StateMgr check box selected as well.
5. Click OK, and then click Yes when you are prompted to restart the computer.

CAUSE
This behavior occurs if a program conflicts with the Mosdmn.exe and Mosearch.exe files.
The Mosdmn.exe and Mosearch.exe files are part of the "Support for fast searching" feature in Office XP. This feature is similar to the Find Fast feature in Microsoft Office 2000. Fast searching uses the Indexing Service in Office XP to create a catalog of Office files on your computer's hard disk.
Method 1: Clean Boot with Only MoSearch
The Mosearch.exe (Microsoft Office Search Service) and Mosdmn.exe (Microsoft Office 10 Search Filter Daemon) Startup items may be conflicting with some other program (or programs) running in the background. i installed a program, and every time i go to run it, it get an error saying it cant find it in my system32 folder, and its not there. i know this has something to do with Microsoft Visual C++, but im not familliar with C++ programming, so idk how to fix it.

Everything mentioned above is correct but you also need to do the following to get your program compiling and working correctly.
1) Add the following line after the #include as cin and cout are part of the standard namespace
using namespace std;
2) When the user enters in the pounds value you need to pass that on to the conversion formula ie
total_kilograms = pounds * 0.453592;
also define total_kilograms as its missing ie
double total_kilograms;
3) Cast total_kilograms to an integer to get rid of the warning.
kilograms = (int)total_kilograms; // truncates to interger
although personally it looks a lot more accurate to print the double value out but its up to you.
4) Dont forget to
- add the semi-colons at the ends of the lines that need them
- initialise the variables to 0 (this is especially useful for pounds ie int pounds=0;)
- its endl not end1

and if i close the window instead of pressing OK it does the same thing.

And if you dont know could you suggest some sites where i could find some usefull info?
