Why everything at the bottom of my comp disappears from left to right so that i have manually turn off my comp

i have a laptop comp and whenever i am in the middle of something all of a sudden everything disapears from the bottom of the screen from left to right and there is no way to go to start bottom and open new page even log off or turn off caz is blanck.sometime this messege shows, says"microsoft visual(c+c)runtime(library)buffer overrun detected .and i say ok .then everything from the bottom disapears.i dont know what is wrong .is there anybody who can help me ?i appreciate in advance thank you all.

It sounds like a serious conflict that is causing explorer.exe to crash.





Without good details on your system (operating system, memory, applications installed recently before the problem occured, especially) and what you have installed, it's difficult to tell what's going on, but it seems like you have a bad application or driver causing the problem.





The short answer is hit CTRL+ALT+DEL. If a box pops up, pick Task Manager. If you are in Task Manager you can go to File... New Task/ Run... and type in explorer.exe.





This will relaunch your desktop until it fails again. You'll really need to find out the source to get a long term fix for the issue though.
