Microsoft visual web developer 2008 question?

in visual basic when building a site, it gives you two options in terms of language visual basic or visual c# whats the difference and what one is better.

Microsoft visual web developer 2008 question?
I've just started to look at VB, but thats because of a new job.

Think about the reasons for learning it - is it to get a job or just for personal use? If it's for a job - look at what people are asking for on the job ad sites and see what you think.

I had a look at the web site posted by the previous answer - and although it provides some good information, the comparison is for VB 2005 - 3 years on from their comparison. If anyone has a more up to date comparison I'd like to read through that.

Reply:it's all about your readabilty.. at the core c# and vb.net are both .net frameworks.. Essentially do you like c# coding styles or vb.net?

I prefer C# because c++ is what I have been using for sometime..

but here's a website that gives you the run down:
